Bridging the Gap Presented…

Testimonies

  • I prayed all evening for a woman named Kim.  Several came up to me after the session Friday and told me that Kim was to come Friday but bailed at the end because she and her husband were ready to divorce.  So you prayed, I prayed, the other ladies prayed and then Saturday came.  I was much more relaxed Saturday and it just flowed so well.  At the end I gave a VERY heartfelt invitation to those who have never accepted Christ before -- not rededications but true first-time salvations.  THREE ladies looked at me and when asked if this was their decision all said, "YES!"  Praise God.  Then they came up and prayed with me at the end -- talked discipleship and called a few ladies forward to assist them in growing in the Lord.  As we were talking, it was evident that one of the ladies was ready to receive the baptism in the Holy Spirit -- so I asked her if she wanted to receive and she said YES!!!  I asked her name and she said KIM!!! -Tom T.
  • God definitely intervened in ladies' lives in a powerful way. I talked to at least two ladies that did not own a Bible and wanted to know how to go about buying one so they could read it! Another lady got baptized in the Holy Spirit after praying for forgiveness. Another lady mentioned that she had no idea how she even got to the conference, but that it had been a divine appointment. I just felt like God showed me that He gave us the desire of our hearts this weekend...maybe numbers weren't what we had hoped...but the eternal change was beyond what we could have dreamed! While we can share a few tidbits of what we saw and heard now, I look forward to the day we get a full report before His throne! -Jolene C.
  • Congrats and thank you.  We made GREAT ministry connections this past weekend and heard great things about what people were experiencing.  -Lana
  • Thank you so very much for putting this conference on!  I was truly blessed by the speakers and the attitude of God's blessings.  I was so comforted to know that people were praying for me - it was quite evident!  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!  -Jen R.
  • Thanks for another wonderful Bridging Experience this past weekend.  Thank you for allowing me to be a part of the amazing work you do for Our Lord!  It was an honor and a blessing to serve at this year's women's conference. -Amy L.
  • The luncheon was as pretty as a bridal luncheon.  I felt honored to have my guest attend.  I attended the workshop on Loss of a Dream.  Renee Nordquist did an excellent job showing us that "God is enough.  More than enough" when life takes a path we hadn't chosen.  I enjoyed the darling necklace.  It was great to invite two Hmong friends to attend free of charge because of the 2 for 1 offer. -Mary C.
  • Just a quick note to tell you how much I appreciate all that you do and the spirit in which you do it.  Your patience with people and kindness speak volumes.  It resembles the Father!! -Debborah S.
  • The luncheon on Saturday: The attendees were seated rapidly.  Elaine did a good job as our M.C.  The food was delicious and the room looked great. -Judy T.
  • Thanks again so much for the honor of being with you beautiful women this past weekend.  Be encouraged -- you did another great job and should hold your head high.  It is certainly not about #s but about the God impact. -Tommy T.
  • Here is a portion of a prayer request that went out to the Salter McNeil & Associates team to pray for Dr. McNeil and for your conference. The SMA prayer team was asked to pray "that the Minneapolis area will be changed because of this conference (Bridging the Gap). The vision was of seeds being prepared in a hopper, then being taken out and scattered. It was as if each woman receiving at the conference would go out and change her environment. The scripture given during the conference was Psalm 98:2. "The Lord has made his salvation known and revealed his righteousness to the nations." Blessings to you and your team as you move forward in mission and service.
  • The networking class was a home-run - they discussed how they would meet on a quarterly basis to continuing sharing ideas and resources and then they would plan to annually meet at the BTG Conference!

If you have a testimony to share, please email it to us at clund@mnaog.org.
