Steps to Success

Introduction:

Most people take the easy road.  (Matt. 7:13-14)

God wants you to succeed.  (Deut. 30:8-10)

Two Biblical Concepts of Success:

1. Purpose (Gen. 24:12, 21, 40, 42, 56)
   • God grants this kind of success.
   • God desires success.
   • There is a partnership.
   • This kind of success relates to purpose instead of wealth.
2. Responsibility of resources (Matt. 25:14-30)
• You either succeed or fail.
• It is not how you start, but how you finish.
• Integrity is not enough.  It must be clothed with action.
• If you do what is easy, you will lose what you have.

"The rich get richer and the poor get poorer." - paraphrased quote from Jesus (Matt. 25:29)

Conclusion:
